At Cachet Homes, you have a Client Liaison consultant who is the same person you have completed your prestart with. She already knows you, your home and the finishes inside and out. The site supervisor and our Construction Manager will arrange to meet you at the property once we reach slab down.

At this site visit, you will receive their phone numbers and gain direct access to them throughout the build. You will continue to have regular conversations with your site supervisor on progress and timeframes, as well as receive fast solutions to any site queries or concerns.

When choosing a local builder, you’re choosing to directly help the community that you are moving into. Having local trades and suppliers readily available removes the need for trips to Perth for selections whilst also assisting to boost the local economy.

When signing a building contract, ensure that you’re entering into a FIXED Price Building Contract. Costly earthworks and other site costs are often left out of building contracts, or have low provisional sums added. This means costly building variation and add on costs, often blowing apart the client’s budget and leaving behind a bitter taste when they should be excited and happy with their pending new home.

At Cachet Homes we only use fixed price contracts. With our extensive experience in the area, we are able to quote the earthworks and site costs into the base build price. Our comprehensive Addenda will outline all your inclusions removing any grey areas. You will know all inclusions before we commence on site.

Due to our low marketing costs and overheads, we are able to keep our prices down and be price comparative to the larger Project home builders.

Select a Builder that has a long standing group of tradespeople that they work with, and one that is evolving with the industry. You need to be confident that your builder regularly reviews new products and procedures to improve their final product, as this helps reassure you that they will delivering on their promise.

Find out if the builder has been awarded or recognised by their peers (such as MBA or HIA) with awards for their company or for specific homes they’ve built. Whilst there is no guarantee that awards or referrals will mean a perfect build for your home, this goes a long way to minimising the risk of choosing a substandard building firm.
